Meet the Author
Richard A. Meyers is a professor, author, and lifelong learner whose journey spans continents, disciplines, and decades of quiet service.
He began his career at NJ Bell as an instructor in the pioneering Electronic Switching System—a precursor to the computerized processing of telephone calls in central offices. In 1970, he joined the Peace Corps and served in India, mentoring high school science teachers in how to build and use inexpensive apparatuses from indigenous materials. Afterward, he taught physics in Bhutan’s Yangchenphug Public School, nestled in the capital city of Thimphu, under the Royal Government of Bhutan.
